Mardy Gilmour is Team Leader and Head Receptionist at the Clinic. Mardy
became part of our family in January 1999, and we don't know what
we would do without her! She spends her free time gardening,
beading, and taking walks with her three dogs. Mardy also has two
cats, four parrots, and four little keets and
finches. |

"Rizzo", "Seven", Anna, "Kaylee", and Aaron
Anna Vierra joined the wonderful reception crew at GAC in May of 2004, and is as thrilled to be a part of this team as we are to have her! She immediately fit right in, gracing us with her ever-present smile, kind, soft-spoken words, and positive energy. Anna moved to San Diego in the summer of 2003 from Sacramento, CA where she was born and raised by two loving parents and two great sisters, all of whom she misses tremendously. Anna attended California State University, Sacramento where she graduated with a communications degree. Anna has been around animals her whole life, has had Labradors, (Augie and Woody) numerous cats, and lots of fish. She currently has two dogs and one very handsome cat. Her dogs are “Seven“, her beautiful mutt and “Kaylee“, the crazy boxer. Then, there‘s “Rizzo“, her rather large orange tabby, who rules the pack with his sassy ways! Anna has recently made the move from Ocean Beach to Lemon Grove (“The L.G.”), apartment living to a home with a huge yard. With her very handsome boyfriend Aaron, and all the pets together under one roof, their home is definitely full of fun and love. The transition from coastal living to moving inland was a big change, but now that she has a home and a yard to decorate…….watch out, Martha Stewart! She enjoys all sports, playing and watching them, hanging out at the beach and singing along to just about every song on the radio, whether or not people want to hear it! Music is one of her passions. Anna is thrilled to be living in San Diego and we are thrilled to have her here on our team. It’s people like Anna that make GAC such a wonderful and positive place to work. |

"Grayson", Debbi & "Merrick"
Debbi moved from Cincinnati in 1997, where she grew up with her older sister and two younger brothers-- a close and amazing family.
She took summer classes and did volunteer work at the Cincinnati Children's Zoo due to her huge love of animals. She also did volunteer work as a monster in a Haunted House, raising money for St. Rita's School for the deaf.
Deibbi joined our spectacular reception team in September of 06, contributing her sunny disposition and fun sense of humor.
Now residing in colorful Hillcrest with her boyfriend, Aaron, 14 year old "Grayson" (a gray and white tuxedo cat), 11 year old "Abbey" (Abyssinian cat), 16 year old "Armond" (an albino corn snake), and newest addition, "Merrick" (a Heinz-57) who just celebrated her 1st birthday.
Debbi will soon have her own business, with handmade gifts and T-shirt line of her very own. |

Sheila's photo soon to come
Sheila Brown attended Pima Medical Institute to become a licensed Veterinary Assistant. During her senior year while volunteering at a local shelter, she was attacked and bitten by a dog and realized it had opened up an apprehension to work directly with potentially aggressive animals. Still having a passionate wish to work with animals, she applied for a receptionist position at GAC, and after being here for only a few minutes, the entire staff was taken with her. The feeling was mutual and Sheila considers her teammates amazing, and feels they should be admired for their generosity and compassion.
Sheila is a people-person, considerate, kind and oh-so-much-fun! She remains calm and helpful during stressful situations, and is a true gem for her reception team to work with.
Sheila has two cats, “Sake”, a handsome orange tabby, and “Martini” a beautiful black and white tuxedo. They all live together with her husband, Sean and her mom, Charla in Poway. There’s nothing they enjoy more than hanging out with each other! A good BBQ, a good board game and good friends= a great time!
Sheila enjoys hiking, cooking, watching sports (Go Denver Broncos, S.D. Padres, Phoenix Suns and Green Bay Packers!!), music, movies, Movies and MOVIES! Any genre, any kind !
They hope to be adding a dog and some babies to their loving family in the future!! |
